DAY 6 - Disneyland Take 2

For our third day at Disney, when headed back to Disneyland. This time, the weather was wonderful - blue skies and not a cloud to be seen.

We started out our day by grabbing breakfast and heading back to the Monsters Inc ride, a fun little trip through the laugh-floor.

We then headed into Adventureland to jump on the Pirates of the Carribean ride. It was incredibly beautiful and a ride that I was so happy to be able to go on. Afterwards, we tried to get into the restaurant which overlooks the ride, but the wait time was 3 hours, so that was never going to happen.

Instead, we grabbed some takeaway themed food and sat down to claim our spot for the parade.

It was an incredible show and one that I was so happy to catch. So many princesses and characters were on the floats and roaming the path along with all the cast dancers. Below is just a few of the photos that I took:

We then headed back into Adventureland for a river cruise and to check out the Swiss Family Robinson House.

Next up was Westernland and Critter Country, after which we claimed a spot to sit and watch the Halloween Pop and Live parade which runs three times throughout the day. We had seen an abbreviated version on our previous day while waiting in line for a ride, so it was great to see the whole thing.

We spent some more time in Fantasyland, catching Mary Poppins and Bert wandering about.

By then it was time to track down some dinner in Toon Town at the Huey, Dewy and Luey Cafe.

And then found our spot for the nighttime lights parade. We managed to claim a spot on a park bench thankfully. But I couldn't get over how rude some people were, spreading their bags out over the benches so that others couldn't sit. But, I did get some lovely photos of the show:

After the last spot of shopping, was watched the closing night fireworks before dragging ourselves home to bed.
