DAY 5 - DisneySea

The second of our four day stint at Japan's Disneylands. We hit up Disney Sea. It's a unique Disney theme park for Japan situated alongside Disneyland. Most people recommend it over Disneyland and I can understand why - it has a very immersive atmosphere in all the areas and from what I understand, the layout and areas included are completely different from any other Disneyland.

But for us, after the wet of the previous Disney day, it was wonderful to have a bright sunshine filled day to explore Disney Sea. We started out with breakfast from the bakery in Mediterranean Harbour (themed of course), before standing in line for the Villain's Parade.

We then started to wander through the park. Into Mysterious Island where we caught a few rides and snacked on seashell icecreams. Its an area designed around Captain Nemo and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

Arabian Coast, the perfect backdrop for my Jasmine Disneybound which I had put together for the day. And where we later spotted Prince Ali greeting fellow Disney attendees. Unfortunately his time was short and we didn't get to have a photo with him.

Mermaid Lagoon, where we lined up to have our photo with the lovely Ariel in her grotto. We later returned to wander through King Triton's castle but saved a full exploration for our next day.

Lost River Delta, which we only passed through after seeing the massive lines for the rides we wanted to go on, and mexican themed food which is a challenge for both of us to eat.

Port Discovery, where we stopped for lunch.

Before long, it was time for a spot of shopping and claiming our spot to watch the night lights show in the mediterranean harbour. It was a beautiful show full of characters, fireworks and special light effects. I'm incredibly glad that we got a good spot to watch it from. Here are a few of my MANY pics of the show...
